Stephen James

Stephen James has extensive experience in payroll administration, currently serving as a Payroll Administrator for the City of Waxahachie since October 2025, and previously held the same position at the City of DeSoto from March 2021 to October 2025. Stephen's background also includes roles such as Assistant to the Lead Pastor at Golden Gate Missionary Baptist from January 2006 to June 2022, Accounting Coordinator at Texas Fire & Sound from January 2019 to January 2021, and Bookkeeper for both the Adult Rehabilitation Ministry from August 2013 to December 2018 and Golden Gate Baptist Church from January 2006 to December 2018. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Biblical Studies from Grand Canyon University.
