Julio Calabrese

Julio Calabrese has a diverse work experience primarily in law enforcement. Julio started their career as a police officer for Stone Park Police Department and Memorial Park Police Department before joining the West Chicago Police Department in 1995. Julio worked their way up the ranks, serving as a Detective from 1998 to 2010 and then as an Investigations Sergeant until 2017. From 2000-2010, Julio was also a member of the DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force, where they investigated homicides and officer-involved shootings. In 2013, they became a Team Leader for the task force. In 2019, Julio retired from law enforcement and transitioned to a second career in sales as an Account Manager for St. Charles Trading, Inc.

Julio Calabrese completed a graduate course at Northwestern University in 2017, specifically in the School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC). Before that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Benedictine University, which they pursued from 2006 to 2008.
