Tia Messino

Tia Messino serves as the Assistant City Administrator for the City of West Chicago since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tia held the position of Assistant to the Village Manager in the Village of Carol Stream from March 2014 to January 2023, where responsibilities included liaising with community groups, overseeing digital communications, managing solid waste contracts, and coordinating various village activities. Tia's earlier experience includes roles as a Public Works Management Analyst in the Village of Carol Stream, where duties involved training coordination, GIS management, and budget development, and as an Administrative Intern for the Village of Hoffman Estates, focusing on special events licensing. Tia began a career in retail with Sears Holdings Corporation, excelling as a Sales Associate, and also worked as a Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University. Tia holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
