Diane Gould serves as a Principal Structural Engineer and Supervising Structural Engineer at the California Department of General Services, Division of the State Architect since June 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the development and amendment of regulations within the Title 24, California Code of Regulations to ensure safety in construction. Diane has also been a Board Member and Board Chair for the Board of Appeals in the City of West Sacramento since January 2011. Prior roles include serving as a Senior Structural Engineer with the State of California Department of General Services (DGS) from November 2007 to June 2016, and holding various leadership positions within professional organizations such as the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) and the Structural Engineers Association of Central California (SEAOCC). Diane earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Geology from the University of California, Davis, from 1992 to 1997.
