Jennifer Rigsby Cusmir

Jennifer Rigsby Cusmir, CMC, MPA, currently serves as the City Clerk for the City of West Sacramento, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the City Clerk at the City of Lodi from July 2020 to January 2022 and also briefly acted as the Interim Public Information Officer. Jennifer's earlier experience includes serving as a Communications Specialist for the City of Maple Valley, WA, where responsibilities involved overseeing cross-platform communications and project management, as well as a Deputy City Clerk handling city contracts. Jennifer's career began in the City of Auburn, WA, as an Administrative Assistant in the Public Works Department. Additional roles include Executive Administrative Assistant at Staples and Front Office Manager at Companion Animal Hospital. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Service and Public Policy from Arizona State University.
