Marie Kalka

Marie Kalka has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Marie currently serves as the Director of Finance for the City of West University Place, a position they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance for the City of San Marcos from January 2021 to March 2022. From January 2020 to January 2021, Marie held the position of Finance Director for the City of Delray Beach. Before that, they worked as the Finance Director for the City of West University Place from March 2017 to January 2020. Marie also has experience working for Broome County, where they served as the Director of OMB from January 2011 to December 2016. Additionally, they held roles such as Budget Director and Deputy Budget Director for Broome County from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their time at Broome County, Marie worked as an Accounting Supervisor for Broome County DSS from April 1996 to March 2008 and as an Auditor for Broome County Audit and Control from May 1991 to April 1996.

Marie Kalka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Binghamton University, completing their studies from 1988 to 1991.
