Shawn Wenko

Shawn Wenko is currently serving as the City Administrator for the City of Williston, North Dakota since June 2023. Additionally, Shawn has been the Executive Director at Williston Economic Development since April 2008, where previous roles included Assistant Director and Workforce Development Coordinator. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Tourism, Sustainable Destination Development from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Administration from Black Hills State University. Further education includes accreditation from the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and certification as a Business Advisor from the Ohio Small Business Development Centers through Kent State University.
