Tamika Leveridge

Tamika Leveridge is the current Deputy Director of Finance at the City of Wilmington, DE. Tamika has over 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to their current position, Tamika served as the State Accountant for the State of Delaware from July 2008 to December 2011. In this role, they oversaw and managed the First State Financials Service Desk operation, which supported all nine modules of the state's financial management system. Tamika also coordinated and organized meetings with other organizations within the state to discuss services that could be utilized for future maintenance or ongoing support.

From September 2006 to July 2008, Tamika worked as an accountant for the City of Philadelphia. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining financial records and preparing reports for various city departments.

Before working in government, Tamika was a claims assistant for Prudential Insurance/High Point Insurance from March 2005 to September 2006. In this role, they processed insurance claims and provided customer service to policyholders.

Tamika Leveridge attended Temple University, where they earned a bachelor's degree in accounting.
