Abigail Smith

Abigail Smith is an experienced professional in the field of recreation and event management, currently serving as an Athletic Coordinator for the City of Wilmington, NC, and as Event Staff for Kickstand Events since September 2023. Prior to these roles, Abigail worked as an Activities Director at Liberty Healthcare from December 2022 to September 2023 and held positions as General Manager and Assistant Manager at Bitty & Beau's Coffee from February 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, Abigail gained valuable experience as a Recreation Therapy Intern at Atrium Health in early 2022 and as a Direct Care Professional at The Arc of North Carolina from August 2019 to March 2021. Early experience also includes serving as a Lifeguard at the Cape Fear Country Club during the summer of 2020. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreation Therapy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earned between 2019 and 2022.
