Jack Snyder III

Jack Snyder III, MPA, CFO, currently serves as Fire Chief for the City of Winters, a position held since February 2023. With a long-standing career in the fire service, Jack Snyder III has held multiple roles within the United States Air Force and the Utah Air National Guard since November 2001, including Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Assistant Chief of Operations, Battalion Chief, Captain, and Driver Operator/Firefighter. Prior experience includes serving as Fire Chief for the City of Elko from December 2021 to February 2023 and Deputy Fire Chief at the City of Elko Fire Department from February 2017 to December 2021. Earlier in the career, Jack Snyder III was a Firefighter and Fire Prevention Specialist in the City of Vacaville. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University, as well as two Associate of Science degrees in Fire Science from the Community College of the Air Force and Pikes Peak State College.
