Val Carr

Val Carr serves as the Mayor of Woodland Park, Colorado, a position held since April 2020, having previously acted as Mayor Pro Tem and Council Member from April 2016 to April 2020. Known as a fiscal conservative and budget expert, Val Carr has a diverse professional background, including serving as CEO of AuraTech, Inc. from 1987 to 1995, focusing on military communications and senior software design. Earlier experience includes working as Senior Hybrid Lab Operations Manager at Lockheed Martin from 1973 to 1977. Val Carr holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and pursued additional studies at Stanford University.
