Tom Matthews

Tom Matthews is a skilled media and public relations professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as the Media and Public Relations Administrator for the City of Worcester since February 2023, Tom previously held various roles, including Reporter and Social Media Producer at MassLive.com from February 2020 to March 2023, and Marketing and Content Specialist at Niche Hospitality Group from May 2019 to February 2020. Additional expertise includes coordinating public relations and social media efforts for Worcester Railers HC and contributing editorial work for Worcester Magazine and The Worcester Journal. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Clark University.
