Matthew Porter

Matthew Porter is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in physician practice operations and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Regional Director of Physician Practice Operations at Texas Health Resources, Matthew oversees over ten clinics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving financial performance. Matthew has also been the Mayor and City Councilman for the City of Wylie since 2018, actively representing the interests of local citizens. Previous experience includes roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center and MedSynergies, focusing on business analysis and client relations, along with significant operational and financial responsibilities at HCA Physician Services. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor's degree in History from Texas A&M University. Recognized for promoting diversity and inclusion, Matthew received the 2020 Mosaic Pin Award.
