Nicole Hofert

Nicole Hofert, AICP, has a diverse work experience in community and economic development, planning, and architecture. Nicole most recently worked for the City of Wyoming, MI, starting in 2018 as a Principal Planner and eventually advancing to the role of Director of Community and Economic Development in 2021. Nicole held this position until the present. Prior to working for the City of Wyoming, MI, they worked as a Project Associate for MIG from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as an Office Administrator for Hales Architecture + Planning from 2011 to 2014. Overall, Nicole Hofert has gained valuable experience in various aspects of community development and planning throughout their career.

Nicole Hofert, AICP, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University in 2009. Nicole later pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where they completed the General Course Program in Political Science and Government in 2008. In 2014, Nicole obtained a Master's Degree from LSE in City Design and Social Science. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of Certified Planner (AICP) from the American Planning Association in an undisclosed year.
