Catherine Jones

Catherine (Katie) Jones is an experienced professional in economic development and event management, currently serving as the Economic Development & Equity Manager at the City of Ypsilanti since January 2023. Previously, Katie held various roles at Fair Food Network, including Associate Director of Operations and Acting Director of Operations, as well as an Executive Assistant. Prior experience includes managing events for the Michigan Municipal League and directing marketing and engagement initiatives at the Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti Regional Chamber. Katie also worked in creative editing and video production at Great Lakes Sports Publications. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Network and Information Technology Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
