Amanda Boyd

Amanda Boyd has had a diverse work experience over the years. Amanda worked as a Community School Director at the City School District Albany from 2017, as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia-Greene Community College from 2019, and as an Academic Immersion Coordinator at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2011 to 2017. Amanda also worked as a Personal Tutor when self-employed from 2006 to 2017. Amanda served as a Program Coordinator at the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc. in 2013, and as an Administrative Assistant at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from 2010 to 2011.

Amanda Boyd's education history includes a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English from the University at Albany, SUNY, obtained from 2011 to 2013. Amanda also studied Creative Writing at Universitat d'Alacant in 2012. Previously, they completed their Bachelor's of Arts degree in English, Psychology, and Spanish at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, Amanda obtained a Certificate in Spanish Literature, Spanish Grammar, and Spanish Cultural and Politics from Universidad de Salamanca.

In addition to their formal education, Amanda has obtained additional certifications. Amanda completed the Restorative Conferences Training from the International Institute for Restorative Practices in February 2014, and obtained the TEFL/TESL/TESOL certification from Oxford Seminars in March 2013.
