Founding 7th Grade Choir Instructor at City School of the Arts

Andrea Wood is a highly experienced music educator and vocalist. Andrea currently holds the position of Founding 7th grade Choir Instructor at City School of the Arts and serves as an Early Childhood Music instructor at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Additionally, Andrea works as a Teaching Artist at The New York Pops and as a Freelance Vocalist. Andrea previously worked as an Early childhood music teacher at Diller-Quaile School of Music and served as the Founding Chair of Vocal Department at True School of Music in Mumbai, India. Andrea holds a Master of Education in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Music in Jazz vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz/Jazz Studies from Michigan State University.
