Cristina Shepherd

Cristina Shepherd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, event coordination, and communications. Currently serving as the Special Events Manager at City-State Brewing, Cristina oversees taproom operations, enhances customer experiences, and promotes diverse events. Previously, at 2U, Cristina successfully managed the development of over 70 digital courses for top universities, leveraging both waterfall and agile methodologies, while also leading a team of Admissions Counselors to exceed recruitment goals. Additional expertise includes grant management and compliance as a Grants Advisor at DACAAR, and humanitarian work as a Legal Advisor assisting refugees with asylum processes in Egypt. Cristina holds a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from The American University of Paris.
