Gennadiy Koev

Gennadiy Koev is a seasoned regulatory affairs professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as SVP and Head of Regulatory Affairs at City Therapeutics since July 2025, Gennadiy previously held similar roles at Editas Medicine and Gritstone bio, where responsibilities included leading regulatory strategies for innovative gene editing and vaccine development. Prior experience includes an executive role at Merus N.V., focusing on bispecific antibodies in oncology, and a leadership position at Sanofi Genzyme, overseeing global regulatory efforts in rare diseases. Gennadiy holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from Iowa State University and a Graduate Certificate in Regulatory and Quality Compliance from Purdue University.
