Aleksandr Shkolnik

Aleksandr Shkolnik is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in engineering and administration roles. Currently serving as a Senior Wintel Engineer III at CUNY since July 2015, Aleksandr specializes in messaging and collaboration solutions, particularly within Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environments, and possesses strong expertise in IT infrastructure management, migrations, and high availability solutions. Prior to CUNY, Aleksandr worked as a LAN Engineer/Sys. Admin at Maimonides Medical Center, providing comprehensive support to Windows-based servers and facilitating remote access for clinical personnel. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Systems Engineer/Administrator at Key Systems/MicroAge, where responsibilities included network management for multiple global locations and installation of Exchange environments. Aleksandr holds a degree in Chemistry/Math from Hunter College and an Associate of Science in Dental Laboratory Technology from Medical School #4 in Kiev, Ukraine.
