Amna Malik

Amna Malik currently serves as the University Senior Director for Career Development and Internships at The City University of New York, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Amna held various leadership positions within the NYC Department of Small Business Services from November 2013 to August 2022, including Assistant Commissioner for Business Operations, Executive Director of Regulatory Reform, and Executive Director of Client Services. Amna's career also includes experience as Deputy Director of Operations for the New Business Acceleration Team at the City of New York from October 2012 to November 2013, and roles at the NYC Department of Buildings from April 2007 to October 2012, including Borough Operations Coordinator and Project Specialist. Amna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The City University of New York in 2006, followed by a Master of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs in 2013.
