Carmen Reyes

Carmen Reyes is a dedicated Transition Coordinator at The City University of New York since July 2022 and has been serving as a Parent Facilitator at EPIC- Every Person Influences Children since March 2011, where workshops are facilitated to promote parental advocacy and involvement within New York City schools. Previous experience includes roles as a Parent Coordinator at the NYC Department of Education from February 2014 to June 2022, focusing on mediation, resource connection, and community partnerships, and as a Waiver Service Provider at Catholic Guardian Society & Home Bureau, providing support for children in foster care. Early in career, Carmen demonstrated leadership as a Store Manager at Ciao Bella Gelato from September 2004 to September 2009, overseeing team operations and enhancing customer experience. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lehman College.
