Marwa Janini

Marwa Janini is an experienced professional in the fields of education, immigration, and research. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Arab American Association of New York since September 2017, Marwa has also held roles such as Interim Executive Director and Immigration Program Manager within the same organization. Concurrently, Marwa has been an Adjunct Professor of English at the City University of New York since October 2014. Previous positions include Education Development Manager at Kanville, Ghana Primary School, where Marwa focused on counseling and fundraising initiatives, and Researcher for the RIMAAL Transnational Research Network, contributing to literature on Palestinian experiences in Latin America. Additionally, Marwa has instructed high school English classes for Syrian refugees and has experience in consulting and guiding students in study abroad opportunities. Marwa holds a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the Graduate Center, City University of New York.
