Monique Francis, MSEd, has extensive experience in higher education administration and community leadership, currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at The City University of New York since January 2012, where responsibilities have included Deputy Director of CUNY Citizenship Now! and Administrative Specialist. In addition, Monique is a CORO - LNY38 Fellow with the Coro New York Leadership Center, participating in a prestigious leadership development program for mid-career and early-executive professionals. Previous roles include Budget and Personnel Coordinator at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York and Administrative Assistant for the University Student Senate. Monique holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College, an Advance Certificate in Immigration Law Studies from CUNY School of Professional Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CUNY-Herbert H. Lehman College, and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from CUNY Bronx Community College.
