Shruti Sharma

Shruti Sharma is an accomplished academic in the field of economics, currently serving as an Associate Professor at The City University of New York since January 2018, after progressing from the role of Assistant Professor. Prior to this position, Shruti held an Assistant Professorship at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad from September 2013 to September 2017. Earlier experience includes teaching roles at UC Santa Cruz and a fellowship at The Conference Board as the Robert McGuckin Fellow. Notable consultancy work was completed with UNCTAD and UNICEF. Educational credentials include a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master of Arts from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
