Cody Smith

Cody Smith possesses extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) across multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at City Utilities of Springfield since December 2019, Cody previously held the position of Geographic Information Systems Technician. Prior experiences include work as a Consultant at Smith's Mapping and Layout from January 2019 to April 2022, and as a GIS Specialist/Tech at Great River Engineering from May 2015 to December 2018. Additionally, Cody worked as an Independent Contractor for Smiths Mapping & Layout LLC between September 2008 and August 2013, utilizing Sokkia Survey Grade GPS equipment for various mapping and utility tracking tasks. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geospatial Science from Missouri State University.
