Chris Farnkoff

Chris Farnkoff has extensive experience in both the U.S. Coast Guard and the educational non-profit sector. Since April 2016, Chris has served as a Health Service Technician, Petty Officer Third Class, providing health screenings and collaborating with medical officers at an on-site medical clinic. Additionally, Chris has been with City Year since October 2005, progressing from Team Leader to Director of Community and School Partnerships, overseeing site managers and ensuring the successful implementation of educational programs in Boston Public Schools. Chris's work involves building relationships with school leadership and developing interventions while managing a large team of Americorps members. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bridgewater State University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
