Theresa Conroy

Theresa Conroy currently serves as the Sr. National Program Director for Learning and Development at City Year, a role held since September 2013, where responsibilities include developing site service strategies and ensuring service excellence through leadership and training of staff and AmeriCorps Members. Previous positions at City Year include ACM Learning Director and Learning and Evaluation Director, focusing on corps member training and program effectiveness. Prior to City Year, Theresa Conroy worked at Interfaith Older Adult Programs, Inc. as the Tutor Program Coordinator, enhancing academic performance through volunteer-driven initiatives with Milwaukee Public Schools. Other roles include tutor training, grant writing, and educational program development. Earlier experience includes teaching positions at Farm of the Child, Greater Albany Public Schools, Corvallis School District, and St. Anthony Catholic School. Theresa Conroy holds a Master of Arts in Educational Policy and Leadership from Marquette University and various educational qualifications including an ESOL endorsement and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
