Laura D. Sander

Laura D. Sander is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the NY Market Medical Director at Cityblock Health since November 2023. With a strong academic background, Laura holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and multiple degrees including an MPH from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, expected in 2024. Laura has been an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine since July 2016 and has held significant leadership roles, including Chief Clinical Officer at Vis A Vis Health and Northeast Regional Medical Director at Heal. In addition, Laura has experience in public health through various positions with the DC Department of Health and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on health equity and population health. With a diverse background in internal medicine and preventive medicine, Laura has also contributed to research on hypertension among HIV-infected individuals in Uganda.
