Julie Bertuleit Turney

Julie Bertuleit Turney has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Julie most recently served as the VP of Talent Acquisition at CityLife Health, where they provided strategic leadership to the organization and enhanced the talent acquisition function. Julie collaborated with business leaders to build a culture with equitable policies and drove discussions on best and next talent acquisition practices. Julie also developed strong relationships within the organization to identify talent needs and gaps, and focused on creating a best-in-class candidate experience through a fast and adaptive recruiting approach. Julie's role encompassed coaching leadership, handling employee relations, and managing routine to complex investigations. Julie was also responsible for external branding and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent attraction and retention.

Prior to their role at CityLife Health, Julie worked as the Director of Talent Acquisition at My Healthcare Recruiter for four years. Julie supported the launch and incubation of a Nashville-based Design Thinking studio called Stoked as the Chief Vibe Officer. Julie's early career includes serving as the Director of Recruiting at e+CancerCare, where they focused on building a network of comprehensive cancer care facilities, and as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Baystone Partners, specializing in building sales organizations for high-tech companies. Julie began their career as a Human Resources Recruiter at Federated Department Stores.

Throughout their career, Julie has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in talent acquisition, and a deep understanding of the healthcare and high-tech industries. Julie has effectively built relationships, driven culture initiatives, and promoted diversity and inclusion in their roles. Julie is also technologically proficient, with experience across various HR platforms and application tracking systems.

Julie Bertuleit Turney has studied Communication and Media Studies at Simpson University. Julie has also obtained additional certifications including a Certified Professional Coach from the Life Coach Institute of Orange County in March 2014 and Targeted Selection from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2010.
