Ahmed Badruddin has worked in the tech industry since 2005. Ahmed began their career as an Intern Software Design Engineer/Test at Microsoft. In 2006 they were promoted to Software Engineer, where they worked on mitigating risks to Windows 7 Service Pack experience and championed Servicing AutoTriage framework and knowledge management software solutions. In 2009, they became a Board Member of the Young Professionals International Network. In 2010, they co-founded Simpleafy and served as the CEO. In 2011, they became the CEO of WatrHub Inc., and in 2021, they became the CEO of Citylitics Inc., a Venture Capital backed data company on a mission of making public infrastructure better for everyone.
Ahmed Badruddin completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2006. Ahmed then went on to pursue a certification in Miller Heiman Strategic Selling and Miller Heiman Conceptual Selling from Miller Heiman, which they are currently enrolled in.
