Charles Morris

Charles Morris has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. From 1988 to 2000, they worked as an Operations Engineer at Verizon Wireless, where they were responsible for interconnection assessment, management, implementation, and budgeting. After that, from 2000 to 2004, they served as the Director of Switching at CoreComm, overseeing all aspects of local and long-distance switching and data center operations.

In 2004, Charles joined Citynet, LLC, initially as the Director of Retail Switching and Operations. Charles later took on roles as the Premier Customer Service Manager, where they excelled in customer service management. Additionally, Charles was involved with the Boy Scouts of America as part of Troop 560 Westerville from 2005 to 2012.

After an accomplished career in the telecommunications industry, Charles retired in 2021 and is currently a retiree and active student at Columbus State and The Ohio State University. Charles is pursuing an Associate of Science degree and plans to continue their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Sciences at The Ohio State University in the fall.

Charles Morris began their education history at DeVry in 1994, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. This degree is still ongoing as there is no end year indicated. In 2019, they attended Columbus State and earned an Associate of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences, completing their studies in 2021. In 2020, Charles enrolled in Fort Hays State University, where they are currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. It is expected that they will complete this degree in 2024. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained a HAZWOPR Certificate in Hazardous Materials Management and Waste Technology/Technician from Columbus State Community College. Charles also holds a C3/8000/G9 Certification from Genband Task Specific Training in Engineering/Operations. Charles has obtained CCNA, CCENT, and CCX certifications from Cisco, although the specific dates of acquisition are not provided.
