Jaap Zeeuw van der Laan

Jaap Zeeuw van der Laan, CFA, serves as CEO of CitySafes since August 2020, where responsibilities include providing visionary leadership and strategic direction. Simultaneously, Jaap holds the positions of Directielid and Algemeen directeur at De Nederlandse Kluis, the largest independent provider of professional vault space in the Netherlands, since March 2013. As a Partner at Landlane Capital since August 2018, Jaap focuses on building financially strong companies. Earlier experiences include working as a Junior Employee at Glencore from October 2011 to March 2013, where Jaap managed risk related to fuel oil volatility, and as a Commercial Trainee in chartering at R.S.V. Sanctus Laurentius from September 2010 to August 2012, as well as various leadership roles in student organizations. Jaap holds an MSc in Maritime Economics and Logistics and a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
