Michael Mullarkey

Michael Mullarkey has held various roles since 2013. Michael started as a Senior Barman at Achill Head Hotel in 2013. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer Intern at EMC, where they developed and created software on top of a custom cloud infrastructure using C#, JavaScript, Knouckout.js and SQL. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer & Data Scientist at CitySwift, and also worked as a Software Engineer at QuickMinutes, where they worked as part of their placement module for their MSc in Computer Science. At QuickMinutes, they worked in a fast-paced environment, with constantly changing requirements of the software, and developed and worked on the main application which involved copious amounts of coding with PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery, all on top of a CodeIgniter framework.

Michael Mullarkey began their educational journey in 2006 when they completed their Leaving Certificate at Mchale College. Michael then went on to pursue a BSc in Computer Science at University College Cork, which they completed in 2016. In the same year, they began an MSc in Computer Science at University College Dublin, which they completed in 2017.
