Shane Gleeson

Shane Gleeson has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field. In 2020, they began working as the Lead QA & Test Automation Engineer for CitySwift. From 2018-2020, they were the Software Automation Engineer for ORBCOMM, where they designed, developed, maintained, and executed automated UI test scripts. Shane also trained QA Engineers in the use of the automation framework, worked and coordinated with an offshore QA team, and integrated the execution of the automated UI test scripts into the Continuous Integration process. From 2016-2015, they were an APU Test Engineer Intern and a Test Engineer Intern for Valeo.

Shane Gleeson attended Dunmore Community School from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Leaving Certificate (Level 6). Shane then went on to study Software Development at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing in Software Development Level 7 Ordinary Degree in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computing in Software Development Level 8 Honors Degree in 2017.
