Jack Donenfeld

Jack A. Donenfeld is General Counsel of CityVest. He has been practicing law for 37 years. Drawing both on his legal skills and his experience in investing in real estate and business ventures, his legal work focuses on capital formation, securities, real estate and multi-generational trust planning. Mr. Donenfeld’s real estate experience includes investing in and/or developing projects including resort area home building, reuse of surplus railroad lands, fractional ownership condominiums and high-end waterfront condominiums. Mr. Donenfeld was a Founding Member of the Real Estate Investment Association® (REIA) based in Chicago. The Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute, a National Association of Realtors® affiliate for which he served as President, awarded him its Specialist in Real Estate Securities designation. He has been a Registered Investment Adviser and holds a Series 63 securities license from FINRA. Jack Donenfeld earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University in 1973 and a J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1976.
