Katy Morgan

Katy Morgan is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in teaching, research, and leadership. As a co-founder of Youth at the Table since June 2024, Katy has contributed to initiatives promoting youth engagement. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at The University of the South since July 2022 and as a Research Fellow at the Civic Design Center since May 2016, Katy integrates research with practical applications in community development. Katy's prior experience includes a role as Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University from August 2018 to July 2022, and as an English Teacher at Jackson Public School Systems from January 2013 to July 2016. Katy holds a Master’s Degree in Community Development & Action from Vanderbilt University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Millsaps College (2010-2014).
