Marisa Buchanan

Marisa Buchanan is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in content strategy and development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Civic Entertainment Group, LLC since November 2021, Marisa previously held multiple influential roles at NBC News from 2005 to 2021, including Executive Producer for Election Coverage and Senior Producer for the TODAY show and NBC News Specials. Additional experience includes work as a Producer for NBC Nightly News, a Campaign Embed in the Political Unit, and as a Broadcast Journalist for BBC News. Marisa began her career as an Associate Producer at WDIV Detroit and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
