Brandon Phelps

Brandon Phelps, CISSP, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles across the financial and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Civic Federal Credit Union since September 2025, Brandon previously held the position of Cyber Security Analyst at Coastal Credit Union, where real-time security monitoring and phishing response efforts were key responsibilities. Prior to that, Brandon led a cybersecurity team in the US Army, overseeing the resolution of numerous security incidents and proactive threat hunting initiatives. Earlier career experiences include managing product development at Velera and serving as an IT Project Manager at Point & Pay, LLC, as well as providing integration support at PayPal. Brandon holds a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity from Duke University and has a robust educational background in Computer Information Systems and General Studies.
