Fraser MacLeod has had a long and varied career in the public and private sectors. Fraser began their career in 2000 as the General Manager of Gearrannan Village Ltd. Fraser then moved to the Department of Premier and Cabinet as a Strategy Consultant in 2005. In the same year, they became the Executive Director of the Department of Water, Land and Biodiversity Conservation. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Executive Director of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority. Fraser then moved to the Global Water Partnership as the Head of Global Projects. In 2015, they became the Executive Director of the World Water Council. Since 2016, they have held various roles at Civic Ledger, including Chief Product Officer, Business Development and Strategic Partnership, and Expert Advisor. Fraser has also been a Council Member at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) since 2016 and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow since 2002.
Fraser MacLeod obtained a PhD in Information Technology from the University of East London in 1992, following a BSc (Hons) in Surveying and Mapping Sciences from the same university which they completed in 1989.
