Tyrone Michael Avnit has over 10 years of work experience. From 2010 to 2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Freshive Digital, where they were responsible for visualizing, designing and building applications including web, social and mobile. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Senior Software Engineer & Consultant at Tangent IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd, where they were responsible for delivering world-class UX experience as well as performant mobile applications. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Senior iOS Software Engineer at Britehouse, where they were the iOS Lead for the Transact Feature Team and responsible for mobile payments. Since 2018, they have been a Web3 Solutions Architect, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior iOS Engineer at Civic Technologies, where they are responsible for designing decentralised apps using the blockchain, building smart contracts on the Solana Blockchain, and developing the iOS app for Civic's blockchain identity-verification technology.

Tyrone Michael Avnit completed their Computer Science (B.S.) degree in Biometric Security from Davenport University in 2009. Prior to that, they attended St Davids Marist Inanda from 1992 to 2004. Tyrone Michael also holds a SAFe® 4 Certified Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
