William Newman

William Newman has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. William currently works as a Software Development Lead at Civica, where they lead a team of up to 20 engineers in delivering digital solutions to clients in central government. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Java Engineer, responsible for implementing and testing web applications and establishing a continuous integration process. Before joining Civica, they worked at IPL as a Senior Delivery Engineer and Delivery Engineer, contributing to the development of a Product Management System solution for the Rail Delivery Group. William also has experience as a Technical Support Engineer.

William Newman attended the University of Bath from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors (BSc (Hons)) in Mathematics. In July 2021, they also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
