Gregory G. Curtin, PhD, JD, Founder and CEO of CivicConnect, is a pioneer in the use of emerging technologies and data to help cities, governments and industries in the public sector transform themselves in the digital era. Dr. Curtin brings deep knowledge, experience and passion to his vision for smart cities and digital governance. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Future of Urban Development and Services Initiative, and is a past Member of the WEF’s Global Council on the Future of Government. He worked with the United Nations to launch the UN Global E-Government Program, serving as the principal investigator and a lead contributor to the Global E-Governance Survey and Report during its formative years. He also previously founded and directed the E-Governance Collaborative at the University of Southern California Bedrosian Center. In addition to guiding CivicConnect, Dr. Curtin speaks and writes widely on future/smart cities, intelligent infrastructure, and urban Internet of Things (IoT).
