Jordan Force has diverse work experience in software engineering and research. From 2021 to present, they worked as a Software Engineer at Civicom, Inc., where they upgraded Python code using Tensorflow and fixed bugs in Java EE software. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from 2017 to 2022. During this time, they focused on combining machine learning tools with mass spectrometry database search tools to improve the detection of MHC-I presented peptides. They also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Systems Programming course and graded assignments. Jordan also gained experience as a Software Development Intern at Gartner in 2017 and 2016, where they wrote software in Python and customized the Alfresco Enterprise Content Management System. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Biomass Controls PBC in 2015, where they fixed memory usage issues on a data graphing website and developed software to update firmware on a PIC microcontroller. Their earliest work experience was as a Computer Programmer at the Schwartz Lab from 2012 to 2015.
Jordan Force completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut between 2012 and 2017. They then went on to pursue a Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university, which they are expected to complete by 2022.
