Joel Rogers

Joel Rogers has been working in the field of data consulting for over eight years. Joel started their career as a transaction coordinator for Ace Capital Group in 2008. In 2012, they transitioned to CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company as a claim support specialist. In this role, they were responsible for handling customer claims and providing support to the company's clients. In 2014, they began working for Kaiser Permanente as a senior data consultant. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing data to help the company improve its membership and market analytics. Joel left Kaiser Permanente in 2022 to become the director at CIVICORPS.

Joel Rogers received their MBA in Operations Research from San Francisco State University and their BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Joel also has certification from Coursera in Statistical Inference, Practical Machine Learning, Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox.
