Nathan Lee, PhD, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to this, Nathan was a Managing Director at CivicPulse. With experience as a Policy Analyst at California Public Utilities Commission, a Researcher at MIT Energy Initiative, and roles in various governmental departments, Nathan has a comprehensive background in energy policy and technology. Nathan also has a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Technology and Policy Program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S.E. in Materials Science & Engineering from University of Pennsylvania.

CivicPulse aims to bring greater attention to local government within our nation’s civil discourse. We generate these insights through national surveys of local officials, often partnering with researchers and other experts. CivicPulse also produces academic papers and policy reports on critical issues facing local governments, and works diligently to deliver these insights back to local governments and their communities.
