Randy Ong

Director, Airport Operations Regulation & Aviation Security at Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore

Randy Ong is the current Director of Unmanned Systems Operations & Readiness at Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Randy previously served as the Commander of Paya Lebar Air Base for the Republic of Singapore Air Force from August 2013 to February 2018.

Randy is a highly experienced leader with a proven track record in successfully managing large scale events. Randy is adept at harnessing and leveraging the strengths of each individual to create value for the organisation. Randy has a strong operational acumen and is skilled in project and human resource management.

Under Randy's leadership, Paya Lebar Air Base was restructured and new capabilities were created. Randy successfully integrated different domains (Air Traffic, Airbase Platform Sustenance, Security, Logistic and Medical Sustenance, and Aircraft Generation) to create a cohesive and effective organisation. Their efforts have contributed greatly to the success of the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
