Sherman Tan

Sherman Tan currently serves as Assistant Director at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, starting in May 2023. Prior to this role, Sherman held various positions at Workforce Singapore from July 2013 to April 2023, ultimately as Principal Manager in the Manufacturing Division, leading teams to enhance manpower development in key sectors, including sustainability initiatives. Other notable positions at Workforce Singapore included overseeing corporate and marketing communications efforts and engagement strategies. Sherman began a career in research as a Senior Research Analyst at Blackbox Research from January 2010 to June 2013, working on diverse projects across the Asia Pacific. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Certificate in Sustainability and Sustainable Businesses from Singapore Management University and a Master of Science in Marketing & Consumer Insights from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, among other military and business degrees.
