Kylie Yates Gaicd

Kylie Yates GAICD has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Their most recent role was as the Chief Executive Officer at CCF NSW | Civil Contractors Federation NSW starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they were an Assessor at the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal for the NSW Government since December 2020. From November 2020 to April 2023, they held the position of Group Executive, Strategy and Stakeholder Relations at the Port Authority of New South Wales.

Their earlier experience includes being the Acting Chief Executive Officer at Local Government NSW from December 2019 to July 2020, and the Director of Advocacy from March 2016 to December 2019. Before that, they served as the Executive Director of Communications and Strategy at The Centre for Volunteering from August 2014 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Kylie held various roles such as Group Manager Communications and Corporate Affairs at Networks NSW from November 2012 to July 2014, and Public Affairs Manager at Ausgrid from July 2005 to November 2012. Kylie also took on the role of Executive Policy Advisor to the Managing Director (acting) at Ausgrid from January 2012 to June 2012.

Kylie's career started with roles such as Media Manager at the Department of Family and Community Services - NSW Businesslink from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Public Affairs Officer at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (National Parks and Wildlife Service) from December 1997 to September 2003. Their early experience also includes being a Promotions Officer at the Australian National Maritime Museum from 1995 to 1997.

Kylie Yates GAICD completed their Graduate program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism from the University of Canberra in 1994, with a major in Public Relations and Marketing.
