Mark Mason

Mark began his career in the Rail industry working on various worksites throughout the UK. After 12 successful years Mark decided to set up Civil Rail Solutions, with a clear vision to supply a more bespoke and personal Labour service to the industry. Mark is still very involved on a day to day basis at CRS, and quite often is seen on site visiting clients, whilst promoting the business name. Mark possesses an abundance of energy, industry experience & entrepreneurial flair & started the company back in November of 2008. Throughout this time the business has seen tremendous year on year growth, and this is attributable to Mark’s dedication and constant drive within the business to make CRS one of the leading Rail labour suppliers in the country. In September of 2020, Mark moved into a Chief Executive position within CRS and is currently responsible for overseeing the entire business operations from a strategic standpoint. Mark will be looking to continue to drive efficiencies throughout the business and will be on hand to guide John Cheeseman as he too undertakes a new role as Managing Director.
